Demands for titanium dioxide in European markets have experienced remarkable increases by end of February, compared with the same period last year.

Paints and coatings industries are expected to see better market conditions in 2014, but paper-making industry may find it hard to get rid of the recession trend. Peak season of coatings industry is about to begin, indicating a possibility of rising titanium dioxide demands and prices, a manufacturer says.

Current average price of titanium dioxide products in European markets is €2,250 to 2,450 per metric ton.
